Summit Legal Aid is currently seeking an Intake and Office Administrator for our Somerset County office in Somerset.
As a member of our team, you will:
Handle a variety of day-to-day administration, including answering telephone calls, scanning and distributing correspondence and court filings, and addressing daily needs;
Screen applicants for eligibility and processing intake of new client files, including callers, walk-ins, and online applicants;
Internally and externally refer applicants to our six other offices and to partners in government, social, and legal services; and
Assist attorneys and paralegals with file maintenance, correspondence, and other client matters.
Skills and Requirements:
This position operates in a professional law office environment and occasionally may require the carrying of regular office supplies. This role requires the use of standard office equipment, software, and remote videoconferencing platforms.
