Location: Cambria County Academic Center: 110 Franklin Street, 1st Floor, Johnstown, PA 15901
Cost: Free and open to the public

As the winter season approaches, local nonprofit legal aid organizations are partnering with area utility providers to host a Utility & Benefits Clinic to help residents of Cambria, Indiana, and Somerset Counties stay safe and warm.

At this free community event, attendees can have one-on-one consultations about:

• Utility Assistance
  • Utility shutoffs or billing disputes
  • Agencies from the electric, gas, and water utility companies will be available to help with enrolling in programs
• Housing Issues
  
  • Evictions or threats of eviction
  • Other landlord/tenant matters
• Public Benefits
  • SNAP (Food Stamps)
  • Medical Assistance (Medicaid)
  • LIHEAP) Heating & Energy Assistance)
  • TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)

• Additional community resources will be available

Residents are encouraged to bring recent utility bills, identification, and any benefit or housing documents for on-the-spot assistance.

Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted.
